No schedule is made out for employees, no one explains what your pay is, what is expected of you, what station you need to be at. Nothing, nothing Horrible when it comes to scheduling. Yes I know we are supposed to be flexible but being notified the day before you are supposed to work two shifts and very unacceptable especially when you have a family. Okay pay, friendly coworkers. I got along with the managers and the Union guys, so there was no drama. The hours were terrible, though, I think USPS gives the newest people the worst hours to filter out anyone who's not interested in actually working there.
As a seasonal employee over Christmas, I worked pm to approximately am on Tour 2. Imagine arriving home at am, taking a shower after your workday was over and sleeping until noon. I had no life. As far as customers go at the retail window a majority of them are very pleasant to work with when it comes to shipping and buying stamps. Distribution aspect of things can be very stressful especially during the holidays.

Excellent place to work! I don't know why so many people complain about this job, I love it. I work graveyard pmam and I have never had problems.
